Let me be clear. I’d be lying if I said our team foresaw just how pro-active the PowerPool community would be with the PowerIndex idea our team first suggested back in September. Since then, the team has not slowed down and has continuously shipped key infrastructure pieces for their ultimate goal to enable meta-governance in an efficient yet simple way.
Today, I wanted to take some time to walk through why I think what PowerPool is working on and how they have been executing is a perfect fit for a closer partnership with the Yearn Ecosystem. Together, I believe both protocols and communities can benefit tremendously. With Yearn’s help, I believe PowerPool can actually have a meaningful impact on improving the lackluster voting participation we’ve seen across DeFi and crypto today. Once implemented, PowerPool could help coordinate protocol integrations in the future as well as coordinate risk-management across Yearn’s suite of offerings.
PowerPool V2 is right around the corner which is why I think the timing for this couldn’t be better. Let’s start off by covering exactly what V2 entails.
